Eréndira Ramírez-Ortega, Hostess

Eréndira started writing fiction in 6th grade and would read pages of her manuscript to her friend on their way to the bus stop in 1986. Over the next 30 years, she worked on her writing by dabbling in its many forms: journalism, curriculum design and development, translation, and copywriting. She pursued her love for storytelling and earned her MFA in 1999 from Mills College.

You can find her short stories, poetry, interviews, and essays online. She is writing a novel.

She launched Afictionada in 2018.
